Saturday Afternoon Lunch

George, Baby Zeina and I met Grandma Deborah out for lunch today. It is a beautiful day here in Houston so we decided to eat outside on the patio at one of our favorite restaurants, Barnaby's. This eatery is child-friendly and dog-friendly (meaning Mom's little boy, Buddy, can go as well), so it is a place we frequent often. If you haven't seen Little Z in the past week you are probably wondering what is going on with her hair.

Well, in the past 10 days or so the hair on top of her head has almost completely fallen out. I've read that this is normal, and I've even been told that it is good luck and that it will grow back thicker than before, but it looks a little odd. She still has hair on the sides of her head so she looks a bit like a man that has lost his hair on top and has the circle of hair around his head! She still looks BEAUTIFUL -- I just wasn't prepared for this look! I do think with her "new do" she looks a little more like me now! And, perhaps, blond hair may appear when it comes back in!!
