Baby Zeina's Baptism

Baby Zeina was baptized today and I have to admit that I got completely choked up when the choir started singing at the beginning of church. I've always known how important it is to my family to christen a baby, but I didn't realize how much it would touch my heart to participate in the ceremony with my little girl. It was a day filled with "specialness" all around! My sweet mother had Z's christening dress made out of my wedding dress and it just looked so beautiful. After the church ceremony, Zeina wore a dress that was passed down from her cousins (just so pretty!). George's mother was in town from Lebanon for the event and Zeina and Nijad stood with us as the Godparent's for Little Z. We hosted a celebratory brunch at Brennan's with friends and family to mark the occasion. I was in awe of how great both of our families are and so thankful for our friends. God is good.
