Last Night in H-town

Tonight is the last night in my hometown. I will surely miss H-town. My friend Beverly has told me on more than one occasion that I should work for the Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau as I always have something positive to say about the city. Quite simply, I love it here.

Houston is where I grew up and I've considered it my hometown for almost 30 years now. I am sad to leave. My entire life is full of happy, happy memories of my family life in the Space City.

But, I know there is a big adventure just right around the corner. It is so close, I can almost touch it now.

So, with a heavy heart, I'll be signing off for a few days until we get the Internet hooked up at our new house in Saudi.

I am leaving you with this cute picture of Baby Zeina and her Grandma, whom I am most certainly going to really miss.

I am going to miss you too. I hate that I couldn't get down to Houston to see you and your beautiful family before you left. I know we don't see each other often, but you alwyas hold a special place in my heart. I think our friendship is probably the dearset to me. We have been friends for almost 20 years and have shared some of our happiest and saddest moments together. I will cherish each and evey one. I wish you and George and Zeina a safe journey and many new and exciting adventures. I can't wait until you come home for a visit. Please let me know so that I can plan a trip to Houston to see you.

Lots of Hugs from Dallas,
Aleisha
