Where in the world are we?

Disney World? Holland? Nope. We are on our compound in Saudi Arabia, of course. It is the annual "Flower Festival" and the entire garden area has been totally transformed to an amazing festival venue. The flowers and topiary designs rival something you would see at Disney or in Holland. And, all of the Disney characters were here, plus kids activities and lots of great food. The festival was part Disney experience, part cultural cafe coupled with community entertainment. While at the festival, George had a special introduction to the CEO of the company. He was so gracious and generous with his time to our entire family. But, when it came time to introduce Little Zeina, she smiled at him and then proceeded to dump all of her cheerios on the ground at his feet. All of this happened with the Saudi television cameras rolling! My skirt was too short to bend over and pick up the mess. It is never a dull moment over here!
