Texas Big Hair for Dora

One of Zeina's friends gave her a Dora doll for her birthday (Little Z was super excited by this gift!). This particular Dora comes with a brush so children can learn to comb hair. As many of you know, Dora has short, straight hair that falls just below her chin.

Well, Zeina doesn't "comb" Dora's hair in the traditional sense. For some reason, she likes to tease the doll's hair and make it big.

I guess Zeina likes "Texas Big Hair"! After all, she was born in Houston, and her mother did have an infatuation with big hair in the late 80s and early 90s. I guess genetics and environment both play some role with kiddos.

You can take the girl out of Texas, but not the Texas out of the girl!
