Happy 1/2 Year Birthday Baby Zeina!

Baby Zeina turned six months old today! She celebrated with Auntie Mona, Tayta and Jido in Lebanon!!! Tayta had six little cakes to mark each month of her life.

Zeina has learned a lot in 1/2 a year:

She was a fighter from the start. First, she learned to suck so she could drink her milk and leave the hospital. Then she learned to sleep through the night. She had her first "bite" of solid food, her first "taste" of ice cream and she learned to roll over. Little Z learned to smile and laugh! Zeina can melt your heart with her smile -- she is very generous with it and makes you feel like a million dollars. She was born with a full head of dark hair - lost it all - and now it appears to be growing back in nicely. She took her first plane trip (to visit her grandparents in Lebanon)! She can grab her toys really well, put them in her mouth and is a champion drooler. And, she even held her own bottle.

All I can say is that it is has been a truly glorious six months!
