We hosted an Egg Hunt today during our Sunday morning playgroup. Since I am one of the few Americans in the group, I coordinated the effort for the kids. It was a bit of a scramble to find the plastic eggs here in Saudi, but I put the word out that I was searching for a few hundred eggs and all of my friends helped with the effort so we could have enough eggs for everyone. We are so blessed to live among such loving, thoughtful and helpful people. So, today, there were fifteen children all under the age of three running after eggs. It was so much fun! I didn't get a good shot of Zeina because she was so excited about the eggs and wouldn't stand still long enough for a picture to really capture what a good time she was having. Before our "official" hunt this morning, we did a lot of "practice" hunting at home. Zeina's nursery school also had an Egg Hunt and the teacher told me that Little Z found the first egg during their hunt. Happy Easter everyone! I sure do miss my family and friends today but I am happy that we can share a little bit of our life via Zeina's blog.

This reminded me of a story from my childhood that you, as another only child, might appreciate. I put it on my blog.
