We are Coming Home for Christmas...Tonight!

Late tonight we drive to Bahrain and board a flight to go home for Christmas! On Sunday afternoon we arrive in Houston. I am excited beyond words to spend the holidays with friends and family.

We'll be in Houston for a full month and look forward to catching up with everyone.

This time of year is both fantastic and difficult all at the same time. I LOVE seeing the season through Zeina's eyes. Everything is new and full of sweet surprises. At the same time, I really miss my daddy and spend a lot of time "thinking" of past Christmas experiences (such good times).

Since, I am feeling a bit nostalgic about the holidays I am leaving you for a few days (while we travel) with this old photo of my family at a Christmas dinner. I can tell by my BIG hair that I was in high school.
