Betty Crocker and Her Assistant Bake Valentine's Cookies

Since we are currently experiencing a shamaal (that is a sandstorm), we can't play outside so we are having to come up with fun, indoor activities. Yesterday afternoon Little Z and I baked some Valentine's cookies. Well, truth be told I bought the pre-made dough so all we had to do was roll the dough, cut out the hearts and decorate. Zeina had a blast helping to press the dough flat with her hands, working with the cookie cutters and putting the sprinkles on the cookies. She had SUCH a GOOD time that she was not happy with me when I put the cookies in the oven. After the cookies were baked, Zeina felt they needed more sprinkles so she proceeded to add more. After all, decorating is the most important part!
