Zeina the Explorer

We spent the morning in Gibraltor, the amazing point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean. We rode the cable car up and enjoyed the views of Europe and Africa and visited the native monkeys that live there. Most of its upper area is covered by a nature reserve, which is home to around 300 Barbary Macaques, commonly known as apes, the only wild monkeys found in Europe. They were literally everywhere and not scared of people in the least bit. Zeina was enchanted, but we had to hold her hand tight as she wanted to pet the monkeys.
Here is a picture of George and Zeina in St. Michael's Cave, a network of limestone caves located in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve of Gibraltar.

This afternoon, while we were lounging by the pool, the resort brought out "Aqua Spheres" and all of the young kids were excited by them. By young, I mean 10-year olds. You are supposed to try and run inside them. Zeina watched of few of the children play in them and decided that she wanted to give it a try. We said ok and took her over to them. She was the YOUNGEST participant by far. While she didn't run in the ball, she did ride around the pool smiling!
