Dinner Date for Six

We went out to eat pizza tonight with our friends Brooks and Emily Elliott and their daughter Lucy. Here is a picture of the two dads with their little girls. It was a nice evening and on the way home I chuckled to myself that Emily and I are grown-ups with husbands and babies. We've been friends our entire lives so being around Emily is always special to me. My dad was a childhood friend of Emily's parents, so she is like a sister or cousin. It just makes me so happy that we both had little girls within the same year, and I hope Baby Z and Lucy become life long friends too.
