Self Portrait: Mommy and Zeina

I snapped this picture of us Sunday evening after a fun-filled day. Obviously, something went wrong with the flash, but I like the shot anyway. We went to a toddler play group organized by the Women's Group Sunday morning and Zeina really had a good time. I did too. I met interesting women from all over the world. Prior to moving to Saudi these women had been geologists, teachers, realtors, etc., so we had a great dialogue and I felt comfortable with them. Later in the afternoon I walked a 5k on the fitness trail. For those in Houston, the fitness trail is similar to Memorial Park; it even goes around the golf course here. I've joined a walking group that meets on Sunday and Tuesday afternoons. And, again, I met some really interesting people in the walking group.
