Bling H2O

Thursday night we went out to dinner with some folks to a new restaurant here in Saudi called Fusion. The restaurant was modern and featured "waters of the world" in the part of the restaurant that would normally be a bar. The 'water bar' was pretty and there were many beautiful bottles from all over the world displayed in the way we would normally think of for bottles of liquor or wine.

The restaurant even has a fancy water menu, instead of a wine menu. As I was perusing the water menu, I spotted a bottle of water from the good old USA that sells for more than $100 here in Saudi. The name of it is Bling H2O and it was created by a Hollywood writer/producer. He felt there was a place for it in the market after spending time on studio lots observing celebrities treat their bottled water as a fashion accessory. The brand features frosted bottles decorated with Swarvoski crystals!

So, I pretended I was a celebrity and had my photo snapped with a bottle of water!
