Taking Off

You won't see us here on the blog for a few days since we leave tomorrow for a mini-vacation in Istanbul. Little Z has her own leisure plans in Beirut with her grandparents. We are leaving you with this picture taken last weekend in the lobby of the newly-opened Intercontinental Hotel in Al Khobar. And, yes, shortly after the photo was snapped we told Zeina that we sit on chairs, not stand. Since we are in public, I am wearing my abaya. Or, as my mother re-named it during her visit to The Kingdom: my "formal". It is long and black after all!
