She is off to the races...well, sort of

Sunday afternoon we took Zeina to the track (which is right across the street from our house), so she could practice walking while holding on to her toy. Our house doesn't have enough room for her to really get going and we thought the track would be a safe, open space for her to explore. She had a good time and didn't cry once when she fell down. When this happened, Zeina simply pulled herself back up and started moving again. As you can see in the picture, Daddy didn't want his little girl to get hurt so he kept close to her.

Since our escapades at the track, she has started standing for brief seconds on her own. Once Zeina realizes that she is standing, and not holding on to something, she gets a really bewildered look on her face and then sits down and laughs!
