George snapped this photo of our little family at the end of the day of Zeina's first Thanksgiving. We spent the afternoon at the home of a neighbor that lives one street over from us celebrating all we had to be thankful for. There were approximately 30 people at the dinner, including children of all ages. Since we were all away from our extended families we tried to make the best of the situation and enjoy the company of those around us. All of the ladies that missed their grandchildren took turns holding Zeina and I made small talk with everyone about their loved ones "back home". It was a nice day full of good fellowship, but I would be dishonest if I didn't admit that my heart was in Houston, Texas, today and I just wish the rest of me was there too.
